Can Automatic AI Reply respond to my past reviews?
Summary:Automatic AI Reply cannot respond to reviews that were received before the feature was activated. It only generates and publishes replies for new reviews that arrive after the AI Reply setup is completed.
Which reviews can Automatic AI Reply respond to?
Automatic AI Reply only works with new incoming reviews.
Once you have configured and activated the feature, the AI will:
- Monitor new reviews on the selected platform
- Generate personalized responses automatically
- Publish those responses according to your settings
What about older reviews?
Reviews that were received before AI Reply was enabled are not processed automatically.
If you would like to respond to older reviews, you can use Manual AI Reply in the Review Management menu:
- Open Review Management.
- Select the review you want to respond to.
- Click Reply with ChatGPT.
- Edit or regenerate the response if needed.
- Post the reply manually (or directly to Google if your Google connection is configured in the AI Reply settings).
Why doesn't Automatic AI Reply process past reviews?
Automatic AI Reply is designed to automate the handling of new customer feedback going forward. This ensures that newly received reviews are responded to promptly while giving you control over how older reviews are managed.
