How do I use my paid Trustindex plan on my WordPress website?

Why am I still seeing the free version?

Trustindex has two separate systems:

  • The WordPress plugin
  • Your Trustindex account (admin.trustindex.io)

The free WordPress plugin is designed for the free service. When you upgrade to a paid plan, you'll need to create a new premium widget from your Trustindex account.

If you're still using the widget created by the free plugin, you'll continue to see the free version and its limitations.

How do I use my paid widget?

After subscribing to a paid plan:

  1. Log in to your Trustindex account.
  2. Connect your review platform(s), if you haven't already.
  3. Open the Widget Configurator.
  4. Create and customize your premium widget.
  5. Save the widget and copy its embed code.
  6. Replace the existing free widget code on your website with the new premium widget code.

Once you've updated the code, your website will display the premium widget with all the features included in your subscription.

Where can I find my widget code?

After saving your widget in the Widget Configurator, the embed code will be available directly in your Trustindex account in this same menu.

Simply copy the code and paste it into your website where you'd like the widget to appear.

If you're using WordPress, replace the code from the free plugin with the new code generated in your Trustindex account.
