Summary:Review tagging works through keyword-based rules.
When you create a tag, you define keywords. If a review contains at least one of those keywords, the tag is automatically assigned to it. This saves you from manually sorting reviews and keeps your feedback structured.
You can then use these tags inside your widgets to control which reviews are displayed.
When setting up a tag, you can define:
Choose a clear name that represents a topic (e.g., Delivery, Customer Support, Quality).
Select a color to visually distinguish tagged reviews in Review Management.
These determine when a tag should be assigned.
If at least one listed keyword appears in the review, the tag is added.
Separate keywords with commas.
Use quotation marks (" ") for exact phrase matching.
Example:
fast, helpful, "same day delivery"
These prevent incorrect tagging.
If at least one exclude keyword appears in the review, the tag will not be assigned.
Separate keywords with commas.
Use quotation marks (" ") for exact phrase matching.
This ensures more accurate categorization.
Tags are especially useful for widgets.
In your widget settings, you can apply a tag filter. When you select a specific tag, the widget will only display reviews assigned to that tag.
This allows you to:
Show only reviews about a specific service
Display testimonials related to a product category
Highlight reviews about delivery, quality, or customer service
Create multiple widgets for different pages with different tag filters
For example, you could create one widget that only shows “Customer Support” reviews and another that displays only “Delivery” feedback.
Review tagging helps you:
Organize large volumes of feedback
Analyze recurring topics
Filter reviews quickly in Review Management
Customize what appears in your widgets
Present more targeted testimonials on specific pages
It’s a powerful way to turn raw reviews into structured, strategic social proof.
