How to Use Trustindex Widgets in WordPress With a Subscription

I have a subscription – how can I use the widgets in WordPress?

InfoSummary:
If you have a Trustindex subscription, your WordPress widgets are managed directly from your Trustindex account. You don’t need to use the “Free Widget Configurator” in the plugin — your reviews will automatically appear, and you can embed widgets via shortcode or the Trustindex plugin block.

Why you don’t need the free plugin tab

With a Trustindex subscription:

  • New reviews are automatically synced to your account

  • Widgets are managed centrally in admin.trustindex.io

  • The plugin’s “Free Widget Configurator” tab is not needed

This ensures your widgets always display up-to-date reviews without extra manual steps.

How to embed widgets in WordPress

There are multiple ways to add your widgets to WordPress pages or posts:

1. Using shortcode

  1. Save your widget in
    Trustindex admin

  2. Copy the WordPress shortcode provided for that widget

  3. Paste the shortcode into any page, post, or widget area in WordPress

2. Using the Trustindex plugin

  1. Install and activate the Trustindex plugin in WordPress

  2. Go to the Log in tab and connect your Trustindex account

  3. When editing a page or post:

    • Insert a new content block

    • Search for “Trustindex”

  4. In the Trustindex block, select the widget you want to embed

  5. The widget will appear immediately in your page/post

You can also embed any widget by its widget ID directly in the plugin block.
