Summary:In most cases, it isn’t.
Research and user behavior show that customers typically make decisions after reading around 15–20 reviews. It’s very rare that someone reads 100+ reviews before purchasing.
Usually, once visitors see several positive opinions, they focus only on:
The newest reviews (to check if the feedback is recent)
The lowest-rated reviews (to see potential issues)
Displaying hundreds of reviews inside one widget rarely increases trust — but it can impact performance.
Loading a very large number of reviews can slow down your website.
Keep in mind:
Each review may include profile images
Browsers need to load all visual elements
Large widgets can increase page load time
A slower website can negatively affect user experience and conversions.
Instead of displaying all reviews in a widget, we recommend using your Review Summary Page (available in all packages).
This page allows visitors to:
View all your reviews in one place
Search within reviews
Filter by rating
Browse in a clean, structured layout
It provides a more complete and authentic experience without slowing down your website.
You can also create custom offers for your Review Summary Page.
This means visitors who take the time to read through your reviews can see:
Exclusive discounts
Special deals
Unique offers
This can positively influence their final purchase decision.
If you still want to display a very large number of reviews directly on your website, you can create multiple widgets and place them below each other.
For example:
One widget sorted by newest reviews
One widget sorted by oldest reviews
You can adjust this under:
Widget editing → More options → Review section → Review order
This way, you can extend the visible review count beyond the single-widget limit.
For most businesses:
Use a widget to highlight selected reviews
Link to the Review Summary Page for full transparency
This gives visitors enough trust signals while keeping your website fast and optimized.
