Can I check if a customer left a review through my email campaign?

You can track the status of invited email addresses in your Trustindex dashboard. However, for external platforms (like Google or Facebook), we can only see whether the customer clicked the review link — not whether they actually submitted a review.


How to check the status of an invited customer

If you’ve sent out review invitation emails through Trustindex, you can monitor their status directly in your dashboard.

You’ll be able to see:

  • Whether the email was sent

  • Whether it was opened

  • Whether the Review button was clicked

This helps you understand how your campaign is performing and which customers interacted with your invitation.


Does “clicked” mean they left a review?

That depends on the platform.

The status only indicates that the customer clicked the Review button in the email.
After they are redirected to the external review platform, we no longer have visibility into their actions. This means:
  • We cannot confirm whether they completed the review

  • We cannot see partial or abandoned submissions

  • We only track the link click itself

This limitation exists because review platforms do not share submission data with third-party services.


Why can’t Trustindex track external review submissions?

Trustindex is dependent on the data provided by the original review platforms. External platforms do not provide real-time confirmation about who submitted a review after clicking a link.

For privacy and platform policy reasons, we only receive publicly available review data once it is published.
